Plateosaurus

The Plateosaurus is a key figure among the basal Sauropodomorph dinosaurs, from the Late Triassic epoch (around 214 to 204 million years ago). Our model depicts a 3-meter long juvenile specimen discovered at the renowned Frick fossil site in Switzerland.

Our juvenile Plateosaurus model accurately reflects the anatomical features of these dinosaurs, with their robust rear limbs, stout forelimbs, and a small head compared to body size. Plateosaurus were predominantly bipedal, with the long tail providing stability during locomotion. Their leaf-shaped teeth suggest a primarily herbivorous diet.

This detailed model, rooted in the latest scientific research, will offer visitors an immersive journey into the world of the Late Triassic, fostering a deeper appreciation for Earth's rich biological history.
