Eyeball
Eyeball (Ø= 200 mm.)
Alchemist, a Michelin restaurant in Copenhagen, asked us to make bespoken plates for one of their unique dishes. A dish of black caviar, called “an eyespot”, needs to be served in an enormous eyeball.
The caviar is served in the pupil indented as a small bowl. A multi-layered 3-dimensional iris and a sclera cast from the resin were embedded in crystal clear resin to make an eyeball that looks real. Each eye is a unique piece in colours, limbal ring size, vein formations and patterns.
