Agnostus pisiformis

The c. 500 million year old creature Agnostus pisiformis.

Our close friend Professor Mats Eriksson received a grant from National Geographic explorers Fund to do research combined with outreach activities, on the exceptionally well-preserved ‘Orsten’ fossils from the Cambrian of Sweden.

We made an open and a closed version of the beast – plus a “fake SEM” model.
