Pachynouronella
The Pachynouronella is a new species of wasp known for its bright, metallic-blue color. This wasp lives in tropical rainforests and is part of the Ichneumonidae family. Its behaviors and ecology are still being studied by scientists.
Our 25cm model, developed with the guidance of Professor Dr. Lars Krogmann from the Stuttgart Natural History Museum, brings this small insect to life. The model replicates the wasp's striking blue color and bright red eyes. We've even included the tiny hairs on the wasp's body, each one made from clear resin and carefully attached one by one.
Created in collaboration with artist Julia Stoess, this model is a true-to-life representation of the Pachynouronella, designed to educate and fascinate museum visitors.
