Gromphadorhina portentosa

Gromphadorhina portentosa made for Zoolab in Copenhagen Zoo. The model is 60 cm. long. We 3D scanned a real cockroach, refined the scan in Z-brush and 3D printed it. Then we cast the model from a special formulated slightIy flexible resin with wire embedded in legs and appendages so that kids in the lab can touch the models.
